UK manufacturer of wiring accessories and lighting Knightsbridge has launched a collection of downlights designed for high-end residential, hospitality and light commercial applications.
Spanning recessed and surface-mounted models, the six ranges – namely Odina, Dipa, Ambar, Dee, Oran and Dasan – amount to over 40 units.
Compatible with Knightsbridge GU10 light sources, the IP20 lights are available in dimmable and non-dimmable variants and boast an array of colour temperatures and controllable parameters.

The downlights can all be used with Knightsbridge’s range of fire hoods, and – depending on model – integrate with company’s SmartKnight app for remote scheduling and operation.
Odina is a die-cast aluminium fixed or tilt downlight offered in a choice of circular or squared edge designs, in black or white finishes.
Designed for applications that require discreet, low glare lighting, Dipa anti-glare downlights include fixed or tilt, circular or square edged designs and black or white finishes in either single or twin lamps.
Available in single, twin, tri, and quad lamp options, the square-edged tilt-only Ambar range provides accent lighting with fully adjustable heads for directional aiming.
The downlights come in a choice of white or brushed chrome finishes.
Dee is one of two surface mounted lights in the new Knightsbridge architectural collection and allow for direction and accent lighting.
Available with either single or twin lamps and offered a circular design, Dee comes in white, black, or brushed chrome finishes.
The second surface mounted light is Oran, a tilt downlighter in a circular or square design with either a white or black finish.
Being fully adjustable, light can be aimed in any direction and, with the lamp shrouded within the downlighter body, potential glare is much reduced.
Finally, Dasan is a collection of circular single pendants with a cable drop to the pendant head.
Available with short or long aluminium bodies, they can be used for suspended illumination and provide intimate lighting for applications such as over tables.
The latest recessed and surface-mounted architectural downlight models are all offered with a five-year warranty.
It follows on from the launch of Knightbridge undercabinet dimmable LEDs for lighting beneath kitchen cabinets.
