Wall panel brand Showerwall has upgraded its laminate panels with exterior grade MDF, following customer feedback and to further its sustainability credentials.
According to Showerwall, the exterior grade MDF core board has an improved swell rate for enhanced moisture resistance and higher density for a cleaner cut and easier installation.
While the laminate wall panels remain FSC-accredited and sustainably sourced.

Exterior grade MDF meets the requirements of class D4, durability category, of BS 4965 for suitability for use in areas of frequent prolonged exposure to running water, including wet and humid areas.
Offered in 40 designs, the laminate wall panels come in a range of finishes, including gloss, matt, texture and the company’s Synchro registered embossed finish.
The exterior grade MDF laminate panels come complete with a 30-year guarantee.
Showerwall has also recently invested in digital printing technology to increase high-end acrylic panel production by 400%.
