Expiry date: 2016-10-31
A partnership between Grohe and Phillips has resulted in the launch of the Aquatunes speaker, delivering sound to a showering experience.
Music can be streamed to the speaker via Bluetooth, from smart phone or tablet, simply by pressing a button to pair the devices. However, with a reach of 10m, the audio source can remain a distance from the wet environment.

Engineered to be waterproof, the Aquatunes speaker can be mounted inside the shower and is designed to withstand jets of water. Its holder will attach to a standard shower rail and can be mounted without removing it from the wall. It can then be locked with a twist into place and unlocked when required.
It features an on/off button, a volume control, a Bluetooth button for pairing to smart devices, plus a next/previous track toggle. The LEDs show the status of the Bluetooh connection and the battery status.
The rechargeable Aquatunes speaker lasts for up to eight hours and comes complete with a water-resistant induction charging station and both are finished in glossy Moonwhite. They are styled not only upon the trends for the latest consumer electronics, but also one of Grohe’s popular handshowers.
